I am doing some pages for a possible book and maybe also posters on significant cars of the 500. I was looking for cars that changed things as the advent of superchargers or were unique like Yunick's side pod, innovative as with the Miller Gulf Special, etc. I want to include the specifications, details, accomplishments, or lack thereof. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I do have a couple of those books. The Clymer one would be interesting.

Super idea. Greatest cars of the Indy 500 is a fresh idea. I like the posters idea. Make sure the verbiage on the posters is brief and readable. I'd be happy to read and edit those phrases if you like.
